      Description

The backend-crawler checks archive.apache.org for releases of Ant and Maven.

At least for Maven, this site does not seem to contain the newest release 3.2.3.

      https://github.com/jenkinsci/backend-crawler/
      http://archive.apache.org/dist/maven/binaries/

The crawler needs to be updated to use an additional or different source to allow use of the current release.

Thanks to all that participated in the various parts of solving the problem.
I'm not sure what is left to do here. Since the configuration in Jenkins shows the latest Maven Version (3.3.3 right now), the ticket can be closed from my side.
