Hello,
I'm running 1.435 of Jenkins and Jenkins GIT plugin 1.1.12. What happens is a user has an improperly configured git config, but I thought the email address that he used should be overridden with the Jenkins email address if the same git account name exists as a local Jenkins account name. This user exists, and here is what I get when a job where he commits when its sending a failure email through the standard Jenkins Email Notifications:
ERROR: 250 2.0.0 pAC1tIZi020637 Message accepted for delivery
com.sun.mail.smtp.SMTPSendFailedException: 250 2.0.0 pAC1tIZi020637 Message accepted for delivery
;
nested exception is:
com.sun.mail.smtp.SMTPAddressFailedException: 553 5.1.2 <email@email>... Invalid host name
Shouldn't the local user's email address override the git email address taken from the commit? I've confirmed both userID's are identical.
