Location of the temporary file "Maven Global Settings" incompatible with release: prepare

      During the execution of a release (via m2release) maven project that uses a global settings file, a crash occurs because a temporary file is found in the project workspace

      ...and the file name isn't stable for exclusion with the release plugin
