JENKINS-8848 adds custom workspaces for Maven projects, but the user interface should be improved in that freestyle projects list the options under one section (Advanced Project Options) whereas Maven lists it under another (Build). This makes Jenkins hard to use.

Please ensure this option is available under the same location regardless of the project type.
