Can't get issue links generated with out user/password

      Description

I've setup my JIRA instance to allow anonymous browsing of Projects and issues
as well as anonymous access to the version control information.

However, the JIRA issue keys listed in my changes aren't links.

If I change the configuration to have my username and password in there,
      everything works great.

Is there some permission besides Browse Projects that this plugin needs to be
      able to do the linking?

I haven't been able to find any log messages at all in the Hudson log.

... and therefore should be able to generate the URLs for links even without
            jira's SOAP/RPC interface being used.

Agreed. Any text in a commit comment of the form #ABC-123 should generate a link
to http://jira-url/browse/ABC-123, with no access to Jira required.

To be implemented properly, this problably should have a a new field in the
Hudson project configuration to specify that links to jira are to be generated.

The thing is that # is not a "special" character to the plugin.

I'm rather cheekily assigning this to olamy, since he's listed as the maintained for the Jira plugin. Unfortunately I'm not a Java programmer, otherwise I'd look at this myself.
