The latest Jenkins Version 1.523+ taking way too much memory as compare to the LTS version 1.503.9. I installed the Jenkins Version 1.530 and it started taking around 1200 MB memory as compare to the LTS version 1.503.9 which used to take 300 MB memory.

Something is not correct with latest Jenkins Version. After installing the latest version, the Jenkins started to throw Out Of Memory exception and was sometime became unresponsive.

Finally I reverted back from 1.530 to 1.503.9 (LTS) which fixed our issue.

Even we were able to capture the memory issue through JavaMelody plugin of Jenkins.

Also, I compared the memory with Oracles Hudson with same number of plugins, jobs etc.. It seems that Hudson is not eating up as much memory as Jenkins. Can somebody fix this issue.
