      The current Jython plugin is affected by this issue on Solaris when os.chmod is invoked:

          Apparently the os.chmod operation succeeds, but OSError is still thrown. A workaround can be to handle the exception on Solaris.

          Upstream (2.5.3 and 2.5.4rc1) still exhibits this issue.
