Jenkins ver. 1.596.1, Master on Win7 (Java 1.6), slave on Win8 (Java 1.7), other slave on MacOS X.
In projects with "Delete Old Builds" option set sometimes the whole subdirectory including workspace and all builds disappears. If the project is a mutli-configuration job, it sometimes only happens to some configurations.
I believe it never happened to builds that don't have the delete old builds option selected.
When it does happen, we usually only notice because there is some problem with later build or dependent build, so I can't find when it happened and the (standard) log does not have anything obvious.
I would set up some special log for this, but I don't know how. I could also try to put something in the workspaces (I only remeber this happening on the Windows builders, so I could try creating something that will keep an otherwise useless file in each workspace open to make the unlink fail, but I don't know whether it would appear in the log and how).
