Have an ability in the Jenkins job to enable to see HPE LoadRunner controller window if checked in the build configuration.
by design the controller window is set to be hidden on the Jenkins node.
you can see it in
if you want, we can create a feature request to set this option as configurable.
Avishai Moshka - I'm not the Jenkins admin so I don't have access to the Jenkins server. I only have access to the LoadRunner Controller machine that has the Jenkins slave agent. Can you provide me the details on how to update/change the Jenkins server to allow the LoadRunner Controller to be visible during execution. I could pass this info to the Jenkins Server Admin. Please response as quickly as you can to help us with this. Its been a while and we are looking for this solution. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Please Copy "Byron.Magruder@USPTO.gov" in your responses.
Will be added in our next releases as a feature.
Yafim - In the v5.1 plugin which we're about to download to test, will we be able to see the Controller GUI execute? I see this problem was commented that it will be added into a future release and that was on 10/2016. Just wondering how in the plugin version 5.1 we can configure the LoadRunner Controller's GUI to be visible during the Jenkins build execution?
Is there a workaround to configure the plugin to show the Controller GUI during Build executions? If so can you send or publish directions on how to do this? We need this feature as soon as possible.
Perftst1 SQAD, is it still relevant?
Daniel Gront, this is still relevant, several users have requested that.
The functionality was added for pipeline and remains to be added for freestyle.
Will be available next release.
