Description

When upgrading to Jenkins LTS 1.596.2, the build description that contains the URL hyperlink is gray out. Hence the users can't click the URL from the Build History console, but have to an extra step by selecting the individual build # and click the URL link from there.

The solution right now id to downgrade to the LTS version 1.580.3.
Is there any reason why the URL link was disabled on LTS 1.596.2? Can it be enabled again?

Thanks,
amargono

Could you provide a complete and detailed guide how to reproduce this problem? What's the description you set, and how do you set it? What browser are you using? What do you expect the description in the builds history widget to be, and what is it actually?

How to reproduce the disabled hyperlink on the build description.
1. On the Build History Trend, select of any build instance.
2. "Edit Build Information" and enter "Description" e.g,
build failed, see http://jenkins-ci.org.
3. Go Back to the "Build History" Trend and you will see all description text is grayed out including the hyperlink is disabled.

This happens on the firefox and chrome browsers.
See the attached image for a working version on LTS 1.580.3!

Duplicates JENKINS-26406, which will be fixed in 1.596.3.
