When I create a new element in jenkins, it is possible to override the configuration of an existing element.

The bug appears when the new element is named exactly like an existing element.
It is possible to create an element with the name of an existing element, when the existing element has project based security activated, and my user is not authorized to view the element (if my user is authorized to view it, the failure message appears, another element with the name already exists).
When I create the element, it overrides the configuration of the existing element, but the build-history remains the same.

We are using Jenkins ver. 1.651.3
