      Description

When a pipeline that exists in a nested path is favorited, it is shown at the top of the screen without the full path.

Shown in main list as jenkins / the-folder / the-job, but shown as a favorite jenkins / the-job

It is inconsistent, and makes it difficult to find favorited jobs (e.g. I have c/build, d/build, e/build jobs).

While I believe this folder structure handling is going to be overhauled in later versions - it seems like this would be a relatively simple fix on the way towards 1.0.

Still a couple of small changes to make but this one is close enough to done to be put into in review.

Speaking to Brody Maclean - the colouring on the folder should be "fill: white, opacity: 0.5" - but at present it is hardcoded to #CCC

So we've recently got started with Blue Ocean and all of our folders seem to be ignored. The UI shows folders as simply part of the "path" to the job, e.g. "FolderName / JobName". Where are the nice folder icons? Are folders (as provided by the CloudBees Folders plugin) a supported 'first-class' concept in Blue Ocean? Appreciate any help you all might have on this! Seeing a single listing of every single job on the dashboard is a little overwhelming.

Brian Villanueva we do not have plans to replicate folders in Blue Ocean. When we were in the initial design phase of Blue Ocean we identified usability issues with folders via a survey we performed last year. What we found was that as the depth of folders increased there was an inverse relationship to the users ability to find the jobs they were looking for. We also found that most Jenkins users use folders to group jobs by project and allowing infinite folder nesting turned out to be not such a great solution to these problems. We are going to work on a way to more logically group your Pipelines. It is likely to be implemented as a folder but not reported as such.

At the moment the team is working on expanding Pipeline Editor support to Git, Github and Bitbucket but we will be adding an item to our Replacing Folders roadmap theme later in the year to solve this problem.
