we are trying to setup a jenkins infrastructure using AD for authentication. We would also like to use groups from the AD. So far so good.

Here is the issue:

We have two domains. Lets just call them domain A and domain B.

In domain A are all the users and we don't have the right to create groups
In domain B we are allowed to create groups, but not users.

domain A has on way trust relationship with domain B. That being said, whoever is on a server in domain B, authenticates using his or hers username from domain A, which username is in a group which resides on domain B.

We would like to use the groups from domain B but the users from domain A for our Jenkins. Is that possible?
