      Description

My Jenkins 2.32 installation with BlueOcean beta 1.0.0-b12 plugin tracks a project with a Jenkinsfile. When I start a build (with the "play" button in BO) it either never appears in the list, or appears and then disappears. I can type the URL to see its progress, but the display is usually stuck at some early stage of the build. At the same time in the classic interface I see all builds and logs, including the coloring of passed stages.

The BO list of builds might catch up some time later - e.g. in the morning I saw only 3 builds while there were over 30 in reality, and in the evening I saw all 35 - but the 36th+ started afterwards did not show up.

Jim Klimov can you also test on another machine please, just in case it' something relating to the local IE config.

I spent a while looking at this on 2 machines I have here. One a Virtualbox running IE 11 on Win 8.1 and another full IE 11 on a DELL machine I have.

From the testing I have done, SSE is working most of the time, but I did see on a few occasions where no SSE event got logged on the client side.

Since SSE seems to be working fine in all other browsers, the best current guess is that there's an issue with the EventSource polyfill we are using on IE. I'll look into that some more now.

We're using one of the 2 "most popular" polyfills for EventSource: https://github.com/remy/polyfills/blob/master/EventSource.js. The other popular one is https://github.com/Yaffle/EventSource, so I'm going to update the build to try that and see if it makes things a bit more stable.

Closing this for now in the hope that it resolves the issue for Jim Klimov. It should be in the next beta. Reopen if you still see issues.
