The plugin is now using a mix of properties and environment variables. Both have their pros and cons and since one is chosen for every configuration option, configuring ATH is somewhat clumsy. What is it supposed to do?

• There is a way to set the value in environment to be reused by several ATH invocations (like exporting envvar) .
• It is possible to set a value to be propagated through several wrapped processes (like cnvironment variables).
• There are no surprising limitations in allowed characters in name or value of configuration option (java properties?)
• There is a way to set defaults in maven profile (like java properties)
