Provide a way to automatically assign ownership to branch jobs

      Use case
      When different branches in a repo belong to different users, one would like to be able to assign ownership automatically when the branch is discovered (or, on first run, with the properties step).

          I totally support this feature, but I have never had time to work on it. Unassigning it for now, but I will be happy to provide advice and to help with reviews if somebody wants to work on it
