The documentation of "Launch method" states, that the SSH method is the default.

On my tries always "Launch agent via Java Web Start" is pre-selected when adding a new template.

I suggest to change this and behave as stated in the documentation, since the SSH method is probably much easier to configure as the currently by default selected Java Web Start launch method.
