For some time, multiple branches (including long time passing ones) have failed due to the github creation not always redirecting to the activity screen. 

This happened only on CI. After some diagnosis (I won't like to all the branches/prs) it was noted that somehow SSE events are missing, or there is a hidden error. It is hard to see as there is no way to get to the console (yet, until perhaps moving to chrome for selenium). 

Furthermore, it may be reasonable that the creation screen times out and shows the activity screen by default anyway (small change). 

This was fixed temporarily in the ATH via:
