I am trying to migrate one of our Bitbucket repos to a jenkins pipeline job.

This repo has over 3K branches currently.

Branch indexing takes 11 minutes to complete, and it seems it is called each time any branch is built. Is there any way to speed this up? I will look into deleting some old branches, but we are a big company so 500-1000 branches a week is a about average for us.

 Also, regarding our Bitbucket version - we are in the process of upgrading to Bitbucket Datacenter, so we will be up to date to 5 then.
