I just had a hard time trying to get the profile loaded on a macOS slave.

https://wiki.jenkins.io/display/JENKINS/SSH+Slaves+plugin#SSHSlavesplugin-Loginprofilefiles kind of helped but it took me a while to understand that configuration changes need a reconnect of the slave.

This should be documented right by the parameters and also in the mentioned documentation.
