p4-plugin + global pipeline shared library - problems specifying latest default version

    Details

      Description

when configuring a global pipeline library "Default version" retrieved from "Modern SCM" -> "Helix Library", I would expect that "#head" should work for the latest "Library Depot Path"

entries like "master", "#head", "head" either don't validate or evaluate to version "-1" (resulting in "@-1" in p4 operations)

the only way to get the latest on the path is to specify a huge number inexorably greater than any version in the repo (e.g. "100000000000")

I should add, leaving the "Default version" blank results in a failed checkout

          Hi Daniel Hsueh,

Just been going through the backlog and saw this. Have you tried 'now'? I think that's the default value and should be equivalent to 'head'.

Setting a revision of now should allow you to use the latest revision of the library.
