      Description

      I created a temporary test credential with a one-character password: "0".

      I have deleted this credential.

Now my logs still masks every instance of "0".

Surely there must be some way to reset this, right?

I think the JJB produces Jenkins XML shape file from a YAML/JSON description file and impartial uploads payforresearchpaper it to Jenkins.  JJB delivers a suitable test command to let you legalize the XML earlier you effort to upload it to Jenkins.

Jasmine Jack, you seem to have included a link to an unrelated site.   Did you mean to paste something else?

Jasmine Jack, I'm not using JJB at all, I created my job by hand with a Jenkinsfile script.

I don't even care if all of my other credentials get deleted.  Isn't there some way to remove all credentials in such a way that the system will not remember to mask them in the log?

          Maybe delete files in `jenkins/data/secrets`?

My mistake.  My script was doing its own censoring of credentials before Jenkins even got a hold of it.  Closing this ticket.
