      Description

In our project in some jenkins pipeline we need to check if specified resource exists. Currently the only option we found is to catch exception thrown by libraryResource.

This approach is not nice and heavy if you need to process many files.

It would be nice if this method could return null or another way to check if resource exists would be provided.

So far I found that we are not the only one interested in this feature, you can find the same wish in https://issues.jenkins-ci.org/browse/JENKINS-45041 in comment section from Gayan Viranka
