Hey, Rolando-Mihai Vlad, Could you take a look at that?

Also, it should save it on the slave instead of the master.

          Hello Tanmoy Roy,

We are investigating. Currently, the field does not influence where LR saves the results.

          Regards,

          Rolando.

          Hello Tanmoy Roy,

The results directory field is used by UFT for GUI and API tests. If you would like a similar functionality for LR, I will open a feature.

          Regards,

          Rolando

Thanks for the update Rolando-Mihai Vlad

It will be awesome if we can use the similar functionality for LR, And can you please update when can we expect the new behavior.

Also wanted to know if we can save results with custom result file name rather than a file with random numbers (Existing behaviour).

           Regards,

          Tanmoy

          Hello Tanmoy Roy,

The current behavior can not be changed. The feature will be available after next release most likely.

          Hello Tanmoy Roy,

Releases take few months. I can perform the changes and provide you the .hpi with the changes sooner.

          Let me elaborate my requirement.

Present scenario- The results are saved in Jenkins Workspace with some random number folders eg- 36892c.

What we need- The result to be saved in any location which is preferable to the user. And also User can be able to save the results file with any kind of custom name.

eg- /path to the results file to be saved/PrerformanceRun1 (or any other custom name to the results folder.

Requirement is how we are currently saving the results using the LR controller where the user defines the result folder name. Want the same to be implemented in the LR plugin.

          Hello,

I can't upload the .hpi here due to size constraints. You can find the PR at https://github.com/jenkinsci/hpe-application-automation-tools-plugin/pull/240.

Please note this was tested only by me, and no regression was performed.

          Regards,

          Hello,

Thanks for the update it would be great if  you can upload the .hpi file. I understand the constraint of uploading big files in JIRA. As i am very new to jenkins i have limited idea of what to do with the PR that you mentioned in the comments.

          Helllo,

Download my repository https://github.com/vladrolando-mihai/hpe-application-automation-tools-plugin. You need to have maven installed: http://maven.apache.org/guides/getting-started/maven-in-five-minutes.html. Once your environment is set up, run mvn package -DskipTests on the root folder of the project.
