Jenkins v2.211
Problem description:
When I use a mobile web browser on iOS (doesn't matter whether it is Chrome or Safari), I need to press twice each job/directory to make it work. After the first click, the directory/job is just checked, the second click activates URL and Jenkins goes inside the directory/job.
The problem doesn't appear on Android devices as far as I know. The problem is not related to specific version – I've been living with that for at least year, but now it's annoying not only to me.
Affected iOS versions:
- iOS 12.X
- iOS 13.X
Affected web browsers:
- Chrome
- Safari
Steps to reproduce:
- Open your own Jenkins on iOS web browser.
- Press directory/job to open them.
- See what happen.
- Press the same directory/job - it should work just now.
Expected behavior:
- Open your own Jenkins on iOS web browser.
- Press directory/job to open them.
- Jenkins should open a directory/job immediately for the first time.
I've added a screen record (as a YouTube video, as file exceeds the JIRA's limit) to show how it looks like. Please note, that the normal Jenkins menu is not affected – this problem concerns only a job area!
