We have a large Hudson cluster and we manage assignment of jobs to nodes with labels. There is currently no way to pin the running instance of a matrix controller (the part that keeps track of running slots). They just hop around the cluster at random. In some ways, that's not a very big problem, since it's just a management process and doesn't put a lot of load on the node. However, it makes it rather difficult to locate these jobs when looking at a list of several dozen nodes and at least that many running jobs. Would like ability to pin the controller. It must be independent of how the cells are pinned. We'd like to pin these to the cluster controller node while have actual cell execution elsewhere. For bonus points, it would be great to do something to better visually designate these "special" jobs in build executor status view (different color or whatever).
