I'm using jenkins installation with war file in Docker container run via 

java -Xms3800m -Xmx3800m -jar /usr/share/jenkins/jenkins.war

With Jenkins <=2.235.3 it worked fine by simply running new docker image with newer war file on the same workspace it was updated fine without any issues. But when I'm trying to run the image containing 2.235.4 or 2.235.5 it continues to display 2.235.3 version in right bottom corner and displays there's update to 2.235.5 available.

war file was already verified via SHA256 checksum - it's 2.235.4 and 2.235.5 according for sure. Running them in isolated environment causes the right version to display in Jenkins startup logs.
