There is a possibility to specify ClearCase view name and view path. By default, view path is set to same value as view name. Changing and storing view path works fine ( view path value is stored into configuration).
But when opening project configuration path again - view path is set to the default value again (this is not stored in configuration file yet, applied on UI only). Hence, if we make some changes and store configuration, the view path value will be overwritten (unless we remember to change it every time)
