Using the Matrix-based project security seems to work pretty good. However in many Corporate environments it is often desirable to allow specific users/roles to "see" or view a project simply listed, so they know that it is there and is working in Hudson. The current permission, READ, for a project allows a user/role to see the project listed in a hudson view, click down and view the details, view the builds, and even the console output from specific views. It would help A LOT if there were also a VIEW permission that only allowed the user/role to view the project listed in hudson views, but not click to drill down to view anything else.
