Using the createItem URL to copy an existing job creates a copy, but won't allow you to build the new job. You must reload the configuration from disk or save the new job's configuration before a build can be ran.

The outcome of using createItem is equivalent to copying a job using the website, but not clicking Save when sent to the job configuration screen.
