      Description

      Accessibility issues.

The menus in the new jenkins website are not navigable with the keyboard (arrow keys).

You can tab - but things with drop downs in the menu are not highlighted, and on the main scree so you do not know what is selected. You can guess and hit space to get a drop down menu but then the arrow keys do not work to go up and down the menu as expected - you need to tab...

tabbing in the main content screen again does not highlight what you have selected for the majority of links.

Interesting report, in that I would have never though about it. I'm not sure how to address this so I'm going to leave it unassigned for now but bump it towards the top of the backlog

so something has changed in that the links in the main page are now highlighted. (strange)...

The "Downlaod" in the menubar does not seem to be navigable with the tab key.

If you go to the main Download with tab and hit enter you would expect that the tab would then focus through the dialog box - but it cycles through all the items and then after the last one goes to the downlaod LTS... (that's a lot of tabbing )

This should work implying something has broken or not been setup correctly (it appears as though the site is using aria menus)

            https://www.w3.org/WAI/GL/wiki/Using_ARIA_menus
http://oaa-accessibility.org/examplep/menubar1/ <- example here works for me as I would expect.

Could it be as simple as the main <ul> and some some <li> elements are missing the correct roles? role="menubar" on the ul and role="menu" on the menus

Using <TAB> I never get the options in the menu bar that have dropdowns (Use-Cases, Sub-Projects, Resources) to be selected - such that you can not use them.

So I don't think this is fixed.

Well darnit, if this is something you care about enough to fix it, go for it

I don't think I'll ever get my backlog down enough to tackle this
