      Description

Similar to GitHub links in WEBSITE-332 (cc: @danielbeck), the same problem exists with the infobox jiraComponent field for plugins whose JIRA component don't match their artifact ID.

      For example:

The most common case of mismatch is where the artifact ID ends with "-plugin", but the plugin site code seems to handle that fine.

So the simplest fix might be to rename all JIRA components to the artifact ID — the IRC bot makes this easy. There are over 180 hits for "jiraComponent" on the wiki, but from looking through the first page of results, the plugins are either dead, or are redundantly specifying the jiraComponent field, or end with "-plugin". I'd have to look further to find a plugin whose component needs renaming.

Otherwise, add another mapping table to the UC generator?

      Other, better ideas, appreciated

Michael McCaskill as of 23 Jan 2017 there seem to be no links to JIRA at all on the plugins site. Is it a side effect of this?

Denys Digtiar - I'm not sure honestly. I'll have to check it out.

I'm not I understand what you mean. I'm able to click on https://plugins.jenkins.io/uno-choice and it correctly goes to the correct plugin and the JIRA on the plugin right sidebar links to the proper JIRA page. If you could provide a screenshot(s) that illustrates the problem you're seeing, that would be helpful.

JIRA (issue tracker) ≠ Confluence (wiki)

The lack of JIRA links currently is deliberate.
