Add "lightbox" image features to the jenkins.io site

    • Similar Issues:

It would be great if contributors could selectively add "lightbox" functionality to the images included in documentation on the jenkins.io site.

Once you access the link above, click on any images on this page to see the "lightbox" functionality in action.

Main benefit in implementing this feature: When you have a page with lots of images on it (such as in the first tutorial posted as part of the Jenkins User Documentation), where each image contains varying levels of detail, it would be nice if the reader could click on an image to expand and see its detail - especially if the reader is viewing the content on a desktop computer, which doesn't automatically have the convenient touch-zoom features of mobile devices.

Implementation consideration: When implementing this feature, consider allowing metadata that could be included in Asciidoc image reference syntax to determine whether or not an image gets the "lightbox" feature (rather than applying this feature in a blanket fashion to all images throughout the jenkins.io site). Not all images need "lightboxing".
