      Description

      Jesse Glick

Noted that the Jira linking on jenkins.io assumes linking only the JENKINS Jira project.  Should support links to other projects in this Jira site.

FYI the linking to JIRA issues listed in the https://jenkins.io/changelog-stable/ is a bit odd too.
          e.g.

          What's new in 2.121.3 (2018-08-15)
          Community reported issues: 1×JENKINS-123 1×JENKINS-12345678 1×JENKINS-33412 1×JENKINS-222222 1×JENKINS-53399JENKINS-1234 1×JENKINS-123456 1×JENKINS-1234567 1×JENKINS-420JENKINS-12345

The numbers 123, 12345678 etc are wrong. The URLs linked to match the text, but the issues numbers themselves are nonsense.

          Pull request has been merged.

The changelog concern expressed by pjdarton is about the changelog application accepting bug numbers that are not valid bugs. We've accepted that behavior because it is not a significant distraction from the purpose of the changelog system and because no one has submitted a pull request to resolve it.
