We chain some builds between jobs that start in solaris in dynamic views to Windows jobs that run on snapshot views. Using the configspec for the first job captured as a file I can pass that as artifact for the second job (not resetting the config spec, but manually set as a build step).
Other builds run entirely on Windows Snapshot views, also chained with other Windows builds that we want to use the same ConfigSpec as the Upstream project.We chain some builds between jobs that start in solaris in dynamic views to Windows jobs that run on snapshot views. When configuring the Base ClearCase options for a job it is only possible to select the options "Use time rule in config spec" and "Do Not Reset Config Spec" if you are using dynamic views.
However these options are also valid for snapshot views. Please move them outside of the scope of "use dynamic view" option.
