Our build scripts rely on perforce to help with things such as:

• generating a source manifest
• confirming changelist workspace is sync'd to
• submitting build artifacts

The old plugin accommodated this by setting the necessary environment variables in order to call p4 commands within the build. The new plugin does not set any of these environment variables.
