Jenkins has started sending email notifications indicating a build has failed when the build hasn't actually failed. I have gone so far as copying the project, changing the name and deleting the project but the emails are still sent for the deleted project with URLs that don't resolve. I have searched the config files for the email recipient addresses and cannot find any configuration for these emails. The old email notifications for the old (deleted) projects won't stop being sent. I have tried updating to 1.597, removing extra plug-ins, checking for extra processes and restarting the machine.
