One thing thats really nice about the kubernetes REST API is for any resource you can append "?watch=true" to the URL and you can upgrade from polling to watching resources over SPDY / websockets which can be a nice way to visualise things in a web page in real time without polling.

I wonder has anyone ever tried adding a watch hook into the Jenkins REST API?
