Major I noticed I did not get a whole lot of plugin updates lately. Turns out the update mechanism doesn't complete anymore. It says "Update information obtained: 3 mo 7 days ago". When I request new update information via "Check now", the page never completes but hangs on https://jenkins.magnet.me/pluginManager/checkUpdates.
The log just prints this, and then stops:

Restarting Jenkins did not help. Is there anything else I should try?
