It would be great if there was an option for a read only view of Job Configure
pages. For most of our users it would be ideal if they can view how the job is
set up--we just don't want them to be able to change it. Only certain people
should have the ability to change a Job. You could either make the read-only
view the default permissions for the Configure page or add it as another option
in Matrix Based Security. (Another thing that might be useful, but not as
important, is to allow the Manage Hudson pages to be viewed as readonly by most
users).

We are currently using version 1.260. I looked at the changelog for all the
more recent version and the open issues and didn't find anything like this, but
sorry if this is a duplicate. Also we are using Matrix Based Security.
