We would like to bundle the blueocean-display-url-plugin so that all inbound links point to Blue Ocean when Blue Ocean is installed.

      In Scope

      • Add a dependency to blueocean-display-url-plugin in the blueocean aggregator module

The BlueOcean UI is opt-in, but the display URLs are not... that's a problem for me. Especially because not all of my custom reports are converted over to be usable/visible within the blue ocean UI.

Anthony Mastrean sorry for the inconvenience. We are planning to do something about it in JENKINS-39580. In the mean time, you can disable the BlueOcean Display URL plugin in the update center and any new URLs issued should point to classic.

What reports do you have that you'd like to see converted?

I had gotten an email notification due to test failures. The link took me to the blue ocean console log and I couldn't find the test report anywhere (crawling through the console log for test failures is a non-starter). I believe we're using the latest junit plugin.

Anthony Mastrean so there is nothing in the test tab on the result?

Sorry, James, I had to uninstall the plugin so my team could get back to work. I don't recall finding a test tab in the Blue Ocean failed build display anywhere. When I get around to reinstalling or running a test instance, I'll take a closer look.

Anthony Mastrean if you scroll to the top of the page, past the logs, there is a Tests tab that displays the data. We do want to make it more obvious that tests have failed (JENKINS-39892)
