The timestamp format of dmesg is useless unless you also have the uptime of the system.
Modern Linux distrubutions have a dmesg that can output a nornal timestamp --ctime so this flag should be used if available.
As a fallback you could also include the uptime in a text file, or process the resulting file in the support plugin....
