I'm running Hudson on my Mac in a screen terminal session. Very nice tool! Wenn
I update Hudson itself or any plugin via the web interface the restart of hudson
failes. I got this Exception:

I run hudson as normal user on a normal /bin/sh shell inside screen. Java
version is:
java version "1.5.0_19"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.5.0_19-b02-304)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.5.0_19-137, mixed mode, sharing).

Hudson version I use is the current: I'm allways up to date with this cool software.

PS: Some weeks ago I tried Hudson on a Ubuntu Linux. There is also a problem
with restarting from the web interface. If you need more infos: Feel fre to
