Agent can fetch, then reports fetch error which requires agent restart

      Hi Team,

      We are frequently seeing this error message on Jenkins Build.

      ERROR: Error fetching remote repo 'origin'

      As of now we are restarting the slave PC to get it resolved is there any other way to fix it permanently.

      Jenkins Version : Jenkins ver. 2.7.1
      Git plugin : 3.1.0
      Git client plugin : 2.3.0
