It seems that the kubernetes plugin that spins up nodes dynamically in a kubernetes environment only supports pipelines (declarative and traditional). There does not appear to be a way to use it in freestyle UI jobs.

We have 1000's of jobs and a good 99% of them use freestyle UI to configure jobs. Without the dynamic pod spinup supporting freestyle jobs the plugin is not useful for us.
