      Description

It would be nice if the incrementals-tool could update the plugins defined in the package-config.yml of the custom war packager project.

That's for sure. I would also like Dependabot to support such format or standard Jenkins BOM from JEP-309

BTW, using pom.xml as a plugin list input for CWP is one of the possible workarounds for now

Is there an example? I tried it and got an error, that the CasC plugin is not defined within the plugins block.

Thanks for testing! Likely it is a bug then (CWP checks only the config metadata for JCasC instead of all inputs). Could you please submit it as a separate ticket?

Sorry, I will not have bandwidth to add it for packager-config.yml anytime soon.

Of somebody proposes a PR, I will do my best to merge it. pom.xml is a workaround, adding support of plugins.txt may be also a good option
