The following warning is logged 400-850 times a day:

2021-02-01 15:45:08.822+0000 [id=33568] WARNING j.branch.WorkspaceLocatorImpl#getWorkspaceRoot: JENKINS-2111 path sanitization ineffective when using legacy Workspace Root Directory ‘${ITEM_ROOTDIR}/workspace’
      ; switch to ‘${JENKINS_HOME}/workspace/${ITEM_FULL_NAME}’ as in JENKINS-8446 / JENKINS-21942

There is no indication which job/node/workspace is related and no information in any of mentioned tickets that helps in resolving the issue.

The warning should include relevant information to allow admins to resolve the issue.

On IRC it was suggested that this might be related to the "disable workdir" option.

We did have that option set on several older nodes. However after disabling the "disable workdir option" and restarting all impacted nodes the warning is still being logged.
