I am currently running a private build based on 1.383, when the plugin manager reports plugin updates, the version check says that the plugin was build with version so-and-so and it may not work with an earlier version.

Since the base version is newer, maybe the message should say that private builds may interfere with plugins even though the version is newer.

(this got me a bit confused before I realized that I am actually running a private build)
